Highlights of NBA standout player Tracy McGrady the coming Hall of Famer
Seven-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA scoring champion Tracy McGrady was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2017 on Saturday. "I got the call, and I couldn't believe it," McGrady said after being told of the news. "I had him repeat it again."

After being selected with the ninth pick overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 1997 draft, McGrady averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game for seven different teams across a 15-year NBA career.
Playing for the Orlando Magic during the 2002-03 season, McGrady led the NBA scoring charts with 32.1 points per game, and repeated the feat the following year with 28.0.

On June 29, 2004, McGrady was traded to the Houston Rockets in a seven-player deal. At Houston, McGrady teamed with center Yao Ming to form one of the most potent duos in the NBA.
Despite the Rockets being decimated by injuries in the 2007–08 season, McGrady's team somehow managed to win 22 straight games. The Rockets finished as the 5th seed in the West and earned a rematch with the Utah Jazz.
Undoubtedly T-mac's personal scoring highlight came in December 2004 when, in a game against the San Antonio Spurs, McGrady fired 13 points in the last 35 seconds with four consecutive 3-pointers, leading the Rockets to an 81-80 win.

McGrady came to China in 2012, signing a one-year deal with the Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association that year. Although Qingdao finished the season in last place, McGrady averaged 25 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, and became a fan favorite with his talent and skill.
On August 26, 2013, McGrady announced his retirement from the NBA, pulling the curtain down on his playing career.
